The sky, ever-changing earth, stones, trees and water all around them provide the inspiration for the jewelry sets that you see before you. All are so different, never the same, but the delight always remains, the joy in taking from nature and presenting it back in a new form.

There are such amazing differences that you might like to sample a view of them all! We specialize in unusual semi-precious and precious gemstones, in "Fair Trade" items like the wonderfully creative items made by hand over tiny fires by the "Hill Tribes" people in the northern corner of Thailand, that allows them to keep their traditional families together, and Kazuri ceramic beads made by an African Women's Coop, who are then able to support their extended families. Beauty and outreach to the world, two very wonderful concepts to share. How much richer does it make the experience of your jewelry set to know that you helped others in need! Even though I have been disabled for many years, and it seems the circle of possibilities keeps getting smaller and smaller, I have found a niche for my intense need to create in jewelry. Jewelry sits quietly on my bead boards when I cannot manage, but Nature is unforgiving and plants will die. Due to my extreme chemical sensitivities, there are many "I can'ts". I can't work with chemicals -- no glues, no paints, no glasswork, no propane to melt canes of glass, no ovens to work with silver, no craft shows, no driving, no groups to share with, (I am in rural Texas where the air is good). But creating necklace and earring sets, as well as other unique pieces of jewelry, is my THERAPY -- relaxation, creation, fun, beauty, the appreciation of all things natural and of the Earth itself, observation, and my love of the sea.
With a Master's degree in Psychology over 40 years ago, I can appreciate the exploding problem of children's Autism and have started a jewelry series dedicated to those who deal with the puzzle and to help educate those who don't know enough about it, with a percent of the sales going to the Autism Society. I also like to have fun and want the future owner have fun with the jewelry, so there are stories like "The Tortoise and the Hare" and "Dragonfly's Morning". Each necklace set has a name and a story or description that comes to the new owner, so that you can start a history for your family and each set is authenticated with a dragonfly. Sometimes they are large and gorgeous, like my Swarovski crystal dragonflies that have silver, gold, or copper-plated dragonfly wings with a kaleidoscope of crystal colors (so much fun to make!). Some are hidden in the design to find like a puzzle. Others are sterling silver or sterling with semi-precious stones and the focal of the designs. Some are silver-plate or gold-plate pressed metal. And some are tiny little stamped silver dragonflies attached to an extender chain. It's there, you just have to search for it! If it's a set, usually only one piece has the dragonfly.
